Answer» Used program to get real-mode DOS BACK into WIN ME(http:/www.dewassoc.com/support/minme/real_dos.htm). Get a DOS prompt at boot then goes into WIN ME. Question is ,how to alter my now new autoexec.bat and config.sys files to get a boot option at start-up?F8 option only displays Normal 1. Safe mode, CDROM support are now gone as options, as well as Logged. want a choice at boot for either ME or DOS. Thnaks. Found web site. www.bobjude.co.uk. . Has DOS commands for WIN95,with/without CDROM support plus autoexec and config.sys commands.Decided to dual boot with WINME and WINDOWS 2000. Easier with 2000PRO for DOS ACCESS.
