My other computer aint booting i'm missing win.com config.sys and emm386.exe  i dono what to do. help plz.download a boot floppy from www.bootdisk .com and format your drive...if more help is needed come back...Bootdisk.com gives the FOLLOWING VERSIONS of boot disks available to download.  What are the differences in each version  BTW, I am running WINDOWS 98 that came pre-installed on my Compaq/Presario 5242

i just download DOS Based Image Files  win98 and its nothing happen when i put tha disk in.
and i get some C:> thing what to type in ANYWAY?What OEM means can differ per product. Basically it means it only came with the most necessary items. Thus, a very small manual and only the product itself.

OEM (Click)download the boot floppy or have you a win98 install disk? i would go for  a clean install? the cdrom win  should do it all for you?
