Answer» Can anyone give me some advice here. I have two MACHINES RUNNING W2K Pro. One machine...while USING Yahoo Messenger, and attempting to access camera source in prefrences, as soon as you click it the system reboots. The other, when you go to start AOL...same thing, the system reboots. It's like you hit the reset button on the front of the machines. On both machines, I am using all the latest updates, security patches, driver updates ect. I have been that route. I have tried un-installing and re-installing the applications, even formatting and re-installing the OS. Any ideas on whats up? [email protected]sounds like a hardware issue. how that ties in with the problems you have, I don't have a clue. you say you reformatted & reinstalled the OS. did you REPARTITION the drives as well. i've had occasion that reformatting didn't do the trick but repartitioning did.
