I FOUND this offer over at ghacks and thought I would share .I am not SURE how long the promotion is going to last . here is the promotion page http://www.disk-utilities.com/time-freeze/ and the article from ghacks http://www.ghacks.net/2010/04/30/free-wondershare-time-freeze/ I have been using this for a few day`s now and it works really well. one thing I noticed is that you do not NEED to have the program running in the taskbar for it to work.I found the ICON in my taskbar was annoying. when you restart your computer you have the option to protect your system or start the system normally so there is no need to have that icon running in your taskbar. I forgot to mention if you do use this and have your computer in protected mode Anything you DOWNLOAD will be lost on reboot so save your downloads to another drive or reboot into your OS without timefreeze and then download. another really good program like this is Shadow Defender it gives you the ability to set folders that you don`t want protected.Shadow Defender is not free at the moment it`s35$.If ever I find it free,legally I will post back.
