When an organism is in a scary or DANGEROUS situation, adrenal glands secrete a hormone CALLED adrenaline into the blood. .This hormone is transported all throughout the body. When this hormone is secreted a sequence of changes takes PLACE in the body.

1 The heart starts beating faster. As a RESULT more AMOUNT of oxygen is supplied to the muscles.
2 The breathing rate is increased because of the contraction of diaphragm and rib muscles.
3 It also increases the blood pressure.
4 Blood is diverted to organs such as heart, brain skeletal muscles because the blood vessels.
