Let \(2,\frac{2}{3},\frac{2}{9},\frac{2}{27},.....\) be given sequence.

\(a_1=2,a_2=\frac23,a_3=\frac29,a_4=\frac2{27}\)

Now, \(\frac{a_2}{a_1}=\frac{\frac23}{2}=\frac{2}{6}=\frac{1}{3},\)

\(\frac{a_3}{a_2}=\cfrac{\frac{2}{9}}{\frac{2}{3}}=\frac{2}{9}\times\frac{3}{2}=\frac{1}{3},\)
