Answer» We know thatf=1/T Where f is the Frequency & T is the Time Period Therefore , T=2π *√(L/g)————(1) Where L is the Initial length of the Pendulum When L=4L, T1=2π *√(4L/g) =√4*(2π *√(L/g)) =2*(2π *√(L/g)) From(1) We get that , T1=2T Therefore,f1=1/T1 =1/2T So we get that f1 = 1/2f So we can conclude that, When the length of the Simple Pendulum is increased 4 times of its initial length, its frequency will be reduced to half of the initial frequency. |
