Answer» When a body RETURNS at its initial position, its NET displacement will be 0. For instance, when we throw a ball vertically upwards, it COMES back at its initial position. In this CASE, the net displacement of the ball is 0. But CLEARLY, the ball has travelled some distance. Hope it'll help you.....
