Now some explaination in my own words
So basically if u have ever USED MS word,excel or any thing
You might have seen three options for ALIGNMENT of text
So basically what it does is generally the text starts from the left but LET's say Ur writing a formal letter
Now u need to skip the left part of Ur page so instead of pressing the space bar again and again what you can do is that u write Ur address and whatever u want to write starting from left then just click on the right alignment BUTTON
I don't have a pc in my HAND right now so I m giving an example of the mobile application
Also many a times lets say Ur writing on a specific topic
So u prefer the title at the centre so what u do is u write the title and then just click on the centre alignment button
