Hey!!! Hey!!! Here is your answer.... A light pen is like a magic wand. It RESEMBLES a regular pen in size and shape, and has a cord that plugs into the computer. When you point it at the screen and activate it (either by pressing a switch on the pen itself or a key on the keyboard), it responds to whatever software you're running... A light pen is a computer input device in the form of a light-sensitive wand USED in conjunction with a computer's cathode-ray tube (CRT) display. It allows the user to point to displayed objects or draw on the screen in a similar WAY to a touchscreen but with greater positional accuracy. Light Pen (similar to the pen) is a pointing device which is used to select a displayed MENU item or draw pictures on the monitor screen.
