What is temperature? Explain. |
|
Answer» The temperature of a body is a quantitative measure of the degree of hotness or coolness of the body. According to the kinetic theory of gases, it is a measure of the average kinetic energy per molecule of the gas. Temperature difference determines the direction of flow of heat from one body to another or from one part of the body to the other. Its SI unit is the kelvin (K). |
