What is the difference between intensity and loudness ?

Answer» LOUDNESS:
*The sensation produced in the ears which enables US to distinguish between a faint SOUND and a loud sound is called loudness.
*Loudness is measured indecibel.Loudness depends on the senstivity of ears. 



INTENSITY:
*The average ENERGY transported by a sound wave per second per unit AREA is called intensity.
*Intensity is measured in unit of watts per square metre.Intensity does not depends on the senstivity of ears.
