Which of these hormones can decrease blood pressure?(a) Epinephrine(b) ADH(c) ANF(d) Angiotensin IIThe question was posed to me in an online interview. My question is based upon Regulation of Excretory System in chapter Excretory Products and Elimination of Biology – Class 11

Answer»

Right option is (c) ANF

To explain I WOULD say: Angiotensin II, EPINEPHRINE and ADH or the ANTIDIURETIC hormone or VASOPRESSIN are vasoconstrictors. They can increase blood pressure. ANF or the Atrial Natriuretic Factor is a vasodilator and can decrease blood pressure.
