When the temple officials visited Tao Ying’s house, she felt nervous and depressed mainly because at that moment her house was very messy. She was afraid of the thought that ‘if they (officials) thought her to be lazy they might not believe her.’ Another reason was her son’s presence. She could not predict what would happen.

जब मन्दिर के अधिकारी टाओ यिंग के घर गए तो उसने स्वयं को परेशान व निराश महसूस किया, मुख्य रूप से इसलिये कि उस समय उसका घर एकदम अव्यवस्थित (बिखरा हुआ) पड़ा हुआ था। वह इस विचार से डरी हुई थी कि यदि वे (अधिकारी) सोचेंगे कि वह आलसी प्रवृत्ति की है, तो उस पर विश्वास नहीं करेंगे। दूसरा कारण था उसके बेटे की उपस्थिति। वह कह नहीं सकती थी कि क्या होगा।
