Then, even after the Caesarean birth of her ‘ twins, and being out of the ring for two years, she continued boxing and went on winning. For her brilliant performances in Asian Games and Olympics, she received the most prestigious awards of India-Arjuna Award (2003), Padma Shree (2006), Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award (2009) and Padma Bhusiian (2013).
