Answer» (a) Publication of Voters List : Before each major election, the revision or inspection of all voters lists is done. The voters lists also have photographs against the names of voters. In this process, the names of new young voters are added and the names of old and dead voters are removed. (b) Determination of Voting Centers in Panchayat Elections : In Panchayat elections, the voting centers are made at Panchayat headquarters and at government or semi government buildings. This is done to make the election process easy, impartial and effective. Apart from these benefits, the ballot boxes are not needed to transport from voting place to counting place. |
