Answer» Examples of derived units are - kg/m³ and kg.m/s². - International system of units or SI units are the units that help in technical and SCIENTIFIC calculations by providing a universal unit for MEASUREMENT. There are TWO types of units namely base units and derived units.
- Base units are FUNDAMENTAL units for base quantity measurement. Example unit of mass, time, length which are kilogram, second, metre respectively.
- Derived units are derived from seven base units. Example are density, force given by kg/m³ and kg.m/s² respectively.
