There are number of app available in market nowadays to create your laptop or computer as router. And we can manually do that in operating system. But when you create Mac as router it will cut off Wi-Fi because of it needs the component as WLAN(wireless Local Area Connection). We can use mobile as same thing. But in Windows 10/11 have feature of Wi-Fi direct virtual adapter which allows working of Wi-Fi continue on DESKTOP or Laptop.

In Mac we need an exteranl USB Wi-Fi adapter or ethernet connection to create a hotspot. But in windows we need to turn hotspot on. As per my suggestion ethernet is the best option because of it is very fast and reliable as a source.

(iii)In thirst step select Ethernet as the source and Wi-Fi in the To computers using box.
(iv)In Fourth step select how other devices will connect to your Mac on the next line.
(v)In Fifth step return to the Sharing < Internet Sharing and check the box.
(vi)In sixth step click Start in the popup window that appears.
(vii)Now in seventh step click OK within all prompts if applicable.
(viii) Now in last step scan for available networks on your other device and use the network name and password from Step 4.

(3)Use of Windows 8 as Wi-Fi hotspot
In windows 8 you can still create a wi-fi hotspot in window 8. But we have to do some setting manually:-

(1)Select "Network Connections" from control PANEL

Wi-Fi Adapter

(2)In second right-click on wi-fi adapter and then select "properties."

Network Adapter Settings

(3)Select "Sharing" tab and select Allow other network users to connect through this computer s Internet connection, then click on OK.

Network Adapter Sharing

(4)Now select Command Prompt as administrator.

window 8 cmd

(5)Now type "NETSH wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid= < YOURSSID> key= < PASSWORD> and , press Enter. YOURSSID is the network name and PASSWORD is the network password.

network command

(6)Now you need to type in command prompt: netsh wlan start hostednetwork and press Enter.

network command check

(7)Now in command prompt type :-netsh wlan show hostednetwork to check that everything is functioning correctly.

What is IMEI number and how to validate that?

Answer»

What is IMEI NUMBER and how to validate that?
IMEI(International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique number for mobile or for satelite phones. Mostly it is printed on BACK of your phone battery. We can also display this on mobile screen and to disaply this we need to dial *#06# on dialpad. And this IMEI number is basically used by GSM network to identify that device is valid or not. We can also check stolen from this IMEI number.

This IMEI number is 15 digit long out of which 14 digit plus check digit. We can also use this to get information of origin, Model and serial number of the device.

How to validate IMEI number:-

(1)Let suppose IMEI number is "863999056711723" first from right most digit we will DOUBLE every second number and doubling of digit will be GREATER then 9 then we will add digit number. for example (9*2=18) so answer is 1+8=9 and 6*2=12 and sum is 1+2=3.

(2)In above number start from right every second digit answer is
=3 +(2+2)+7+(1+1)+1+(7+7)+6+(5+5)+0+(9+9) +9 +(9+9)+3+(6+6)+8
=3+(4)+7+(2)+1+(14)+6+(10)+0+(18)+9+(18)+3+(12)+8
=3+4+7+2+1+(1+4)+6+(1+0)+0+(1+8)+9+(1+8)+3+(1+2)+8
=3+4+7+2+1+5+6+1+0+9+9+9+3+3+8
=70

(3)Now divide sum from 10 if is divisible then it is valid IEMI number.
