How India's location influences cultural exchanges with different countries???

Answer»

Answer:

Explanation:

The Government of India’s ‘Act East policy’ aims at improving economic and political relations with the Southeast Asian region which has had close contacts with India for centuries and is linked culturally and geographically with it. India has been able to make inroads in trade and investments with members of the ASEAN by signing a Free Trade Agreement in 2009 which will aims at increasing business between the two and renew the partnership and contact with member countries with similar culture, artistic tradition, family values and customs.

In Cambodia, Thailand and Indonesia or Burma today, many symbolic remnants of India’s influence are clearly visible in their art, culture and civilisation. Through the centuries, India has been a source of inspiration for art and ARCHITECTURE in countries BELONGING to the present day ASEAN. The eleven countries of ASEAN are Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei, the Philippines and recently ADDED Timor Leste.

Temples of Angkor Wat, Pagan, Borobudur and Prambanan bear evidence to the deep penetration of INDIAN art and architectural forms in these famous Southeast Asian monuments.

Some of these monuments surpass the grandeur of Indian temples from the same period because of their scale, extensive stone bas relief carvings and expanse. Thanks to the contact with Indian civilisation, the Southeast Asia also created many literary works based on the Ramayana but with something distinctively their own being discernable in them.

It must be said that Southeast Asia did not accept all foreign influences in an indiscriminate manner. Two notably important external influences came from China and India, but Southeast Asia accepted only those influences and practices that were suitable to their local cultures. Almost every COUNTRY accepted Ramayana because it is easy to retell, understand, modify and apply to contemporary culture.

Folklore singers and artistes played a very important role in popularising and modifying Indian literary works in Southeast Asia and it was the most popular and effective way of propagating Indian culture. Through retelling of the stories from generation to generation, the great epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata could be edited and retold to attract bigger and bigger audiences. The artistes who popularised these were called ‘dalangs’ and contributed to the process of adaptation of these epic works originating outside their country by adding or changing  them to make them more contextual and localised. This was the beginning of the formation of new texts like Seri Rama ( Malaysian adaptation of Ramayana) and RamKer ( Ramayana Khmer) in Cambodia. These are regarded as some of the highest literary works of Southeast Asia.

Q 10 a )  Bill of Rights: Safety

The first tenet of safety is based upon the belief that all products should be safe to the consumer when used correctly. In addition, the government expects businesses to provide specific DETAILED instructions on how to PROPERLY use the product. Lastly, companies are expected to test their products for quality and eliminate any potential issues.

The safety rights for consumers affect businesses because companies have to prevent any potential problems with their products that might lead to legal issues. For example, cigarette companies, who knowingly sell a product that has been proven to cause cancer, could face legal action on the basis of compromising consumer health. This has led to warning labels to protect businesses from lawsuits. In addition, the government through the FTC and CPSC will protect consumers' safety by forcing businesses to recall products that are dangerous.

b)   Bill of Rights: Information

Consumers must be fully informed and provided all the information necessary in order to use a product correctly. In regards to the bill of rights, companies must provide truthful claims, ingredient lists, and product care information for products so that consumers are aware of what products are made of and how to care for them.

c) Bill of Right to Choice:

According to this right EVERY consumer has the right to choose the goods or services of his or her likings. The right to choose means an assurance of availability, ability and ACCESS to a variety of products and services at competitive price and competitive price means just or fair price.

The producer or supplier or retailer should not force the customer to buy a particular brand only. Consumer should be free to choose the most suitable product from his point of view.

d)  Right to be Heard or Right to Representation:

According to this right the consumer has the right to represent him or to be heard or right to advocate his interest. In case a consumer has been exploited or has any complaint against the product or service then he has the right to be heard and be assured that his/her interest would receive due consideration.

This right includes the right to representation in the government and in other policy making bodies. Under this right the companies must have complaint cells to attend the complaints of customers.

e) Right to Seek Redressal:

According to this right the consumer has the right to get compensation or seek redressal against unfair trade practices or any other exploitation. This right assures justice to consumer against exploitation.

The right to redressal includes compensation in the form of money or replacement of goods or repair of defect in the goods as per the satisfaction of consumer. Various redressal forums are set up by the government at national level and state level.

f) Right to Consumer Education:

According to this right it is the right of consumer to acquire the knowledge and skills to be informed to customers. It is easier for literate consumers to know their rights and take actions but this right assures that illiterate consumer can seek information about the existing acts and agencies are set up for their protection.

The government of India has included consumer education in the school curriculum and in various university courses. Government is also making use of MEDIA to make the consumers aware of their rights and make wise use of their money

Describe the importance of investment in education and health withspecial reference to Japan

Answer»

Answer:

Answer:

Education has always been regarded as a vital factor in ACHIEVING the general aims of society. What is more recent is the emergence of a concept of education as an important factor in economic growth.

This concept of education is BASED on the new theory of economics that scientific creativity, skills and other qualitative factors of the labor force will contribute to the economic growth no less than reproducible physical capital and labor force. These factors, which have been paid attention to in recent years, are called 'human abilities'. An approach to education from its investment aspect is based on an understanding that the general development of the 'human abilities', which is ESSENTIAL to the economic growth in the future, depends upon both quantitative and qualitative developments in education.

The cooperatives are playing an important role in food security in India, especially in the southern and western PARTS of the country. For example, out of all fair price shops operating in Tamil Nadu, nearly 94 percent are being run by the cooperatives. What is the effect on good's supply, when natural conditions remain conducive for it?

Answer»

Answer:

The physical environment as an aspect of the workplace environment has direct impact on the human sense and can slow change INTERPERSONAL interactions and thus productivity. This is so because the characteristics of a room or a place of meeting for a group have consequences regarding productivity and satisfaction LEVEL. A large NUMBER of work environment studies have shown that workers/ users are satisfied with reference to specific workspace features. These features preference by users are highly significant to their productivity and workspace satisfaction, they are lighting, ventilation rates, access to natural light and acoustic environment .

Lighting and other factors like ergomic furniture has also been found to have positive influence on employees health and consequently on productivity. Ambient features in office environments, such as lighting, temperature, existence of windows, free air movement etc, suggest that these elements of the physical environment influence employee’s attitudes, behaviours, satisfaction, PERFORMANCE and productivity .

When the employees physically and emotionally have the desire to work, then their performance outcomes shall be increased . Absenteeism can be reduced by having a PROPER workplace environment; which can in turn increase employee performance and productivity. Chandrasekhar stated that the connection or relationship between the work, workplace, and tools of work had become the most important aspect in their work itself . The management has a challenge to establish an environment that will affect, effect, attract, retain and motivate its employees toward increased productivity.

QUESTION:-What were you doing when you felt mostpassionate and alive?

Answer»

Answer:

When I look back on the moments that made me feel the most passionate and alive, I remember the times where unconditional love for a significant other provided me the drive to serve them and make them always feel happy. I remember the times when EXPERIENCES abroad in faraway, unknown places SPARKED a deep curiosity for difference and challenge. I also remember the times when my commitment to a cause, such as Somu Energy in Nepal, and the entrepreneurial ZEST and uninterrupted freedom to innovate and build made me feel like I was doing EXACTLY what I wanted to do, and that freedom became so much more important than the security I had once possessed.

Undoubtedly, however, it is not the travel experiences or the social good work that makes me feel most passionate or alive. It is instead the strong personal relationships that inspire me to be a better version of myself. Feeling inspired by people around me drives that passion and energy and gives me purpose to pursue what I know to be right. It is their authentic, driven, and kind characters that make me ask the question “how can I do this better?”

After all, I also feel very passionate and alive when I discover new and meaningful problems to be solved or areas where there are CLEAR needs for improvement. Being exposed to the limitless possibilities of growth is a driver of change and a motivating FORCE. It gives me something to look forward to and chase. It makes me want to dream big and take the bold risks necessary to ensuring that I do give life everything I have with the passion and conviction I need to feel fulfilled in the journey.
