I'm Travelling Alone. Is This Possible? |
Answer» This is no problem at all. The atmosphere on board is relaxed and uncomplicated, as on a typical SAILING vessel. If you prefer to be on the very safe side, we WOULD recommend you to look for a theme CRUISE when the group is spending more time TOGETHER with the tour guide, or at one of our Sailing & More cruises, which are specially addressed to single TRAVELERS. Peer Pressure? Do I Always Have To Be Part Of The Group? |
Answer» On our regular CRUISES we sail appr. 4 to 6 hours a day and any help on board is ABSOLUTELY voluntarily, so everybody is completely free to do what they like or go their own way during trips on shore. According to our experience, most guests really ENJOY staying together and not only sometimes they feel sorry to PART. Stress and worries are inherent to land and not the SEA... What About Seasickness? |
Answer» It is no shame to be seasick and even Lord Nelson is said to not have been completely spared from it. Nevertheless, a truly severe sea sickness is very RARE. With the exception of crossings, we mostly sail not far away from the coast, staying in bays or ports overnight. When sailing, the sails support the ship, decreasing the MOVEMENTS of the water. In the rare CASE that you still should not feel WELL: stay on deck and WATCH the horizon. This mostly helps. If not, try a chewing gum against seasickness or ask the crew for assistance.
