In the story selected for our summary writing ‘My Lost Dollar’iv Stephen Leacock/narrator lends a dollar to his friend Todd. Ironically, the money lent to Todd, and that which would cause such heartache for Leacock, could not have been given on any better occasion. Todd is given the dollar to pay his taxi fare while embarking on a journey to Bermuda, a favourite holiday destination. Thus it is obviously a moment of PLEASURE for the borrower Todd whereas a painful beginning for the lender Leacock. Leacock, in the hope of realizing the debt from his dear friend makes a mention of it WHENEVER he has conversations with Todd. Finally, he gives up the hope of getting it repaid realising that it is futile to try and get back the dollar.Leacock in his opinion states, “The best definition of humour I know is: humour may be defined as the kindly contemplation of the incongruities of life, and the artistic expression thereof. I think this is the best I know because I wrote it myself”v. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was announced by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Indian Independence Day & launched on 2 Oct 2014, Gandhi Jayanti. On this day, Modi addressed the citizens of India in a public gathering held at Rajghat, New Delhi, India and asked everyone to join this campaign. i am a very chatty girl and really bad at keeping secret's .once regarding the issue of my leave application i went to the principal's office but came to knw that he was not in the office so i was ASKED to wait in his office. while i was lokking around i got the sight of a paper which had some mathematical expressions for my DELIGHT it was  of a copy of mathematics question paper which i will be ansewring the next week in semi finals i got exited and at the same time felt NERVOUS. maths was my difficult subject ! but at thre same time my conscience was telling me to not look at it,but the thought that i am weak in maths compelled me to take the paper and have a look through it.sweat rolled through my face and i could hear the thumping of my heart ,i placed my application on the PRINCIPALS table and left the room.i couldn't resist my self in disclosing this to my friend who got raged with ego and complained to the teacher i got into trouble
