1.	According to Newton's law of gravitation, the apple and the earth experience equal and opposite forces due to gravitation. But it is the apple falls towards the earth and not vice-versa. Why?
Answer» SOLUTION :Yes, the apple atrracts the EARTH with equal force but the mass of the apple is much less as compared to that of the Earth. We know `F=ma` or `a=F/m` Hence GREATER the mass, LESSER the acceleration. Therefopre, due to greater mass, the Earth's acceleration is almost zero.
