Here f = + 10 cm, u = -25 cm and H = 5 cm.
From lens formula `(1)/(V) - (1)/(u) = (1)/(f) rArr (1)/(v) - ((1)/(-25)) = (1)/(10) rArr (1)/(v) = (1)/(10) - (1)/(25) = (3)/(50)`
`therefore v = 50//3` cm = 16.7 cm. The image is real and is formed at a distance of 16.7 cm from the lens on opposite side.
As magnification `m = (h.)/(h) = (v)/(u)`
`therefore""(h.)/(5 cm) = (+50 //3)/(-25) = - (2)/(3)`
`rArr""h. = (-2)/(3) xx 5 = -(10)/(3)` cm
Hence, the image is inverted and diminished in size.
