Consider the following population and year graph:Find the slope of the line AB and using it, find what will be the population in the year 2010.

For the given graph,

Slope of line AB = \(\Big(\frac{97-92}{1995-1985}\Big)\)

Slope of line AB = \(\Big(\frac{1}{5}\Big)\)

Now, Slope of AB = Slope of AC

Therefore,

Slope of AC = \(\Big(\frac{(P-92)}{2010-1985}\Big)\) = \(\frac{1}{5}\)

5p – 460 = 25

5p = 485

P = 97 Crores.
