1.	Construct a Delta ABC in which AB=4.5 cm, BC=6 cm and median AD=4 cm.
Answer» Solution :STEP OF CONSTRUCTION (i) Draw a line segment `AB=4.5` cm. (II) With `A` as CENTRE and radius equal to `4 cm`, draw an arc. (III) With `B` as centre and radius `=1/2 BC=3` cm, draw another arc, CUTTING the previous arc at `D`. (iv) Join `BD` and produce it to `C` such that `BC=6` cm. (v) Join `AC`. Then, `Delta ABC` is the required triangle.
