1.	Construct a DeltaABC in which AB = 4 cm, AC = 5 cm and the altitude from A to BC is 2.5 cm.
Answer» Solution :Steps of construction : 1. Draw a line `PQ` and take a POINT `D` on it. 2. Draw `angleADB = 90^(@)` and CUT `DA = 2.5 cm.` 3. With centre `A` and radius `4 cm,` draw an arc which CUTS `PQ` at `B.` Join `AB`. 4. With Centre `A` and radius `5 cm,` draw ANOTHER arc which cuts `PQ` at `C.` Join `AC.` `therefore DELTAABC` is the required triangle.
