Answer» Solution :Allowa NARROW beam of white LIGHT to fall on a PRISM `P_(1)`. The emergent light consists of seven colours and thus a SPECTRUM is formed. When a second identical prism `P_(2)` is placed in an inverted POSITION with respect to the first prism `P_(1)` as shown in Fig. 11.10, the seven coloured rays recombine to form white light again.
