For her, knowledge means to be cognizant of the thoughts and deeds which have marked man\'s progress and feel the great heart of humanity throbbing through the centuries to the same heart beat. She saw the harmonies of life produced in this great tradition of knowledge and its application and this was instrumental in creating a kind of happiness which is inexplicably one\'s own. |
