| Answer» Apartheid is a political system. It is based on racial discrimination. It causes great harm to a society and a country. It results in racial conflicts and discrimination. In south africa it caused much suffering to the black native people. They were not allowed any kind of freedom. They were not treated like \'outlaws\'. They could not fulfill their obligations towards their family. They were cruelly treated by the white people.But apartheid has another effect also. It makes people learn to overcome fear. It produces people of great character, courage and generosity. In south africa it produced great men like Nelson mandela, oliver tambo, walter sisulu, cheif luthuli, bram fischer and robert sobukwe. | |
