Answer» 1.Bhangar is old alluvial soil and it is less fertile. It is found in the higher reaches about 30m above the flood level. These are coarser in texture. 2. Khadar soils are found in the low areas of a valley which are flooded every year. These soils are finet in texture. These are more fertile as compared to bhangar. Soil is described on the basis of their age. Alluvial soil can be classified as old alluvial (bangar) and new alluvial (khadar). Bhangar soils are less fertile as they are above flood level whereas Khadar soils are more fertile as they are below flood level. |
