Answer» Thanks Seetu Chatham. 1. In the direction of consumer protection, Indian govt. has taken a major step in 1986 which is popularly known as COPRA.2. Under this act , a three - tier judicial machinery at the district state and national level was set up for redressal of consumer disputes.3. If consumer has any complaint with the good or service provided by producer then they have the right to file a case in court4. If a case is dismissed in the district level court, the consumer can also appeal in the state level, and then in the National level court.5 Thus , this act unable us as a consumer to represent in the court and to stop exploitation of consumers. |
