The slope of the equation can be calculated using

m = \(\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\) ⇒ b-b/-a-a = 0

m = 0 (Horizontal line)

Now using two point form of the equation of a line

y - y₁ = \(\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\)(x - x₁)

y - b = 0(x - a)

y = b

So, required equation of line is y = b.
