Answer» Rowlatt satyagraha was against the Rowlatt act passed by British. Rallies were organised , workers went on strike and shops closed down . British administration clamped down on nationalist . Local leaders were picked up from Amritsar and Gandhiji was barred from entering Delhi.Police firing on a peaceful procession at Amritsar provoked widespread attacks on banks , post offices and railway stations.
