How are concave and covex mirrors constructed? |

Answer» Solution :To construct a concave mirror, The inner or concave side of a hollow SPHERICAL glass is polished, so that it becomes a REFLECTING SURFACE. Or, else the outer convex side is COATED with silver and painted with lead oxide to make it an OPAQUE surface . To construct a convax mirror, The outer or convex side of a hollow spherical glass is polished, so that it becomes a reflecting surface. Or else, the inner concave side is coated with silver and is painted with lead oxide to make it an opaque surface. |
