They are nostalgic about\xa0their\xa0good old Portuguese days, the Portuguese\xa0people\xa0and\xa0their\xa0famous loaves of bread.\xa0The Goans remember their past under the colonial rule with nostalgia and fond recollections:\tGoa had not gained Independence with the rest of India. This is because they were colonized by the Portuguese and not the British.\tIn 1961 Goa gained freedom .
