Answer»

Solution :CANVEX mirrox always FORMS an erect, virtual and
diminishedimage for all positions of the object
placed in front of it.

Uses:
(i) Convex mirrors are used as rear-VIEW mirrous in vehicles to see the traffic atthe rear
side (or back side) because- (i) a convex mirror always produces an eract image of
the object, (ii) the image formed in a convex mirror is highly diminished due towhich
a convex mirror gives a wide field of view.
(ii) Big canvex mirrors are used as 'shop security mirrors' By installing a big canbex
mirror at a STRATEGIC point in the shop, the OWNER can keep an eye on the
customerto look for thievesand shoplifters among them as canvex mirrors always
form a virtual, diminished and erect image.
