Answer» Solution :CANVEX mirrox always FORMS an erect, virtual and diminishedimage for all positions of the object placed in front of it. ![]() Uses: (i) Convex mirrors are used as rear-VIEW mirrous in vehicles to see the traffic atthe rear side (or back side) because- (i) a convex mirror always produces an eract image of the object, (ii) the image formed in a convex mirror is highly diminished due towhich a convex mirror gives a wide field of view. (ii) Big canvex mirrors are used as 'shop security mirrors' By installing a big canbex mirror at a STRATEGIC point in the shop,the OWNER can keep an eye on the customerto look for thievesand shoplifters among them as canvex mirrors always form a virtual, diminished and erect image. |
