Solution :(1) KREBS cycle was proposed by Sir Hans Kreb. This cycle is named after him. It is also called tricarboxylic acid cycle or citric acid cycle.

(2) The acetyl-coenzyme-A molecules enter the mitochondria located in the cytoplasm.
(3) They participate in the chemical reactions TAKING place in Krebs cycle.
(b) In the cyclic chemical reactions, acetyl-coenzyme-A is completely oxidised.
(5) It yields molecules of `CO_(2), H_(2)O, NADH_(2), FADH_(2)` and ATP upon complete oxidation.
