Answer» SOLUTION :Precautions : (i) A fuse of APPROPRIATE rating should be USED in the circuit. (ii) Too many appliances should NEVER be connected to a single socket. Overloading : Occurs when a large number of higher current drawing appliances are switched on at the same TIME and the total current drawn through the circuit exceeds its rated value. Short circuiting : Occurs when the live wire comes in direct contact with neutral wire. |
