Answer» Firstly, the leaders of Amritsar got arrested by the Britishers. After this incident, British imposed martial law in Amritsar . Some people came to protect against Rowlatt bill and some of them came in fair of Baisakhi. Most of the people are outside the city that\'s why they are not aware of the martial law. General Dyer knew about this , he came and ordered to close the only exitgate and ordered to fire . Many innocent people lost their lives in that firing.These are all the events which took place in Amritsar during the Rowlatt Act of Satyagraha.
