निम्नलिखित प्रशनो में पाँच अन्य त्रिकोणमितीय फलानो का मान ज्ञात कीजिये [ Find the value of other five trigonometric functions in the followings] : `tanx=5/12` x दूसरे चतुदर्श में इस्थित है ( x is in second quadrant)

Answer» प्रश्न से `tan x=-5/12`
`therefore cot x=12/5`
`sec^(2)x=1 + tan^(2)x=1+25/144=169/144`
`therefore sec x =pm 13/12`
लईकिन x दूसरे चुर्थाश में है `therefore sec x lt 0`
अतः `sec x =13/12`
पुन `cos x =(1)/(sec x)=-12/13`
अब `sinx = tan x cos x =(-5/12)(-12/13)=5/13`
(ii) प्रश्न से `cos x =-1/2`
`therefore sec x =(1)/(cosx )=-2`
अब `sin^(2)x=1-coss^(2) x =1-1/4 =3/4`
`therefore sin x =pm sqrt(3)/(2)`
लेकिन x तीसरे चुर्थाश में है इसलिए `sin x lt 0`
`therefore sin x = sqrt(3)/(2)`
तथा `cosec x =(1)/(sin x )=-(2)/sqrt(3)`
