Answer» Solution :(a) A - Oesophagus- Food is pushed down into the stomach by peristalsis. B- Liver - Its SECRETION bile helps in emulsification of fats and making the MEDIUM alkaline so thatpancreaticenzymes can further the process of digestion. C- Pancreas - Secrete enzymes to digest PROTEINS, fats and carbohydrates. (b).X. is stomach. It has been removed may be because of some accidnet in which it was damaged or due to some diseases. SOMETIMES some people get it cut to make it smaller so thatthey feel full easily, even by smaller portions of food (mainly to lose wight.) (c) By removing stomach, digestion is abversely affected. It is in stomach that protein digestion begins in acidic medium. Because of its removal proteinswould be DIFFICULT to digest, affecting overall health.
