(a) Myelinated nerve fibre: The axon is COVERED with myelin sheat.
(b) Non-myelinated nerve fibre: The axon is not covered by myelin sheath.
Myelinated and non-myelinated nerve fibres FORM the white matter and grey matter of the brain.
