Answer» Solution :When the British people came to India, they FIRST planned and started construction of large-scale projects - like dams and CANALS which were continued by the government of India after independence. The mega projects LED to the negligence of LOCAL irrigation methods and the government also increasingly took control of these systems. This leading to the LOSS of local people control over the local water resources in India. |
