Solve : 2003/2007?

Answer»

Hi,

I have both Microsoft office 2003 and 2007 installed on my computer. I am trying to use exam practice software to prepare for MOS exams so I need the exam simulation software to open with 2003 but when I activate the software it automatically opens with 2007. I normally have no problems switching between the two versions of Microsoft when I am using the applications independently for day to day tasks. My question is what can I do to make the program open with 2003?

If anyone can help me with this problem I WOULD appreciate it.

Thanks Why can't you just open 2003 and then open the document(s) from within Word? The program I am using is the DDC testing simulation software, so all I can do is to activate the software choose which module I want to practice, in this case it is Excel Core and the practice questions start automatically along with 2007 but I need it to open 2003. Does the DDC testing simulation software have a settings screen where you could specify which version of Office you want it to use?

But, can you navigate directly to the "Excel Core" files via Windows Explorer or Excel 2007's Open dialog box and see the files you need to work with?Yes I've gone into explorer and I can access the files. I don't know where to go from here??Quote from: Lorraine on February 05, 2010, 08:59:12 AM

So, you can open the same files that would automatically be opened by DDC testing simulation software, right? So, that seems to be a work-around solution, is it not? No not really because although I can open the files and work with them in the Excel 2003 program, this doesn't give me any indication on whether or not I'm doing the tasks correctly and it also won't provide me with a SCORE or any tips on where I'm going wrong. I've attached a couple of images to see if it might help.

[Saving space, attachment deleted by admin]OK, do you have any SUPPORT from the training institute on using this software? Have you explored that?I am trying to contact a technical support member at the moment from the company which I purchased the software from, I will see if they have a solution. Thank you very much for your help and TIME with this problem. I appreciate it. Thanks, . Please let us know whether they provided a solution.
