i´ve encountered a strange problem in MS outlook, when i have multiple mails open and i switch between mails i can´t send them the first 20 secs, this started about a week ago and it worked FINE before.

Does anyone have any idea???


KuweekeeHas your email host changed any settings, perhaps?  We (I work for an ISP) impose a 15 SECOND delay on all email sending, to slow down the spammer.  (I.e. the first email takes 15 seconds before transmission starts - all others in the queue go immediately.)But, that would not affect simply having multiple message windows open and switching between them, would it?  He didn't mention sending, just viewing.I'm not that familiar with Outlook so I don't know, but he did SAY this:

Did you recently incorporate any antivirus software?  Almost all of the time...depending on your brand of software...the antivirus program will cause a delay...particularly if it scans your outgoing email.  Norton is famous for this problem.
