Answer» Has anyone else experienced this problem: After starting up windows XP home edition, My COMPUTER or windows explorer will not recognise CD, DVD or USB flash drives unless they are plugged in/loaded in the drive on windows starting. I have to RESTART windows for them to be recognised. I have AVG free antivirus and zonelabs Zonealarm firewall. Any suggestions - this has been an ongoing problem for sometime but wasnt always like this and I have run out of ideas.Try the REG patch&GT;>cdgone....>http://aumha.org/regfiles.htm also check bios settings for pnp.......devices..or the device/manager....
