Solve : AdBlock Stick and its software? |
|
Answer» I have bought lately AdBlock Stick and installed on my computer (Win10 Pro) TODAY. It doesn't seem successfully installed though. My AV Bitdefender blocks something in that AdBlock software. The file C:\PROGRAM Files (x86)\Block My Ads\publish\x64\WinDivert64.sys is infected with Application.WinDivert.B. The threat has been successfully blocked, your device is safe. Of COURSE AdBlock cannot startup in this SITUATION. Is >Application.WinDivert.B< something really bad? Or is this false positive? I'm stumped now Open Bitdefender, Click on Protection (left-hand side) and you'll see the Safe Files component on the right. Click on Application Access to see the list of programs which have been blocked. It's a simple case of using the toggle switch to tell Bitdefender that you want to allow it to make changes to your PROTECTED folders. Incidentally I am not a great fan of Bitdefendr. |
