Solve : Add/Remove will not open?

Answer»

I can do that.. ;0) Question In Step 2: House Cleaning - Download CCleaner Slim, Is this a registry cleaner?  I have PC Tool Registry Mechanic, I was just wondering if CCleaner does the same thing. Hope you have a lot of patience cause I have little knowledge when it comes to fixing problems in the computer, and I do asked dumb questions... I looked through the internet this morning praying I would find help, when I finally come across to this place. So believe it when I say THANK YOU I really mean it!You're very welcome
CCleaner removes all junk, like temporary files, etc.
Simply go through all those steps. They're safe.it says to Make sure that ALL browser windows are closed before selecting Run Cleaner...So I shall say Good bye for the time being.  I am on Step 3: SUPERAntiSpyware, Should I disable my Spyware with Antivirus to run this one.

No. Just make sure, you run Super in Safe Mode.Step 3: SUPERAntiSpyware

I had to go to the control panel and pull up about , When it stated Verify your Java Version! I REMEMBERED the coffe cup icon in there and that's where I found this...Here's what I found:
Version 1.5.0 (build 1.5.0_02-b09) Copyright 2004 Sun Microsystems, Inc.

So Assuming this is what version I have and it must be reall outdated after seening the date 2004...The current version of Java is Jave 6 Update 13. You most likely need to update it.

See if you can open Add/Remove Programs now. If so please uninstall Logitech Desktop Messenger. Then run a new HijackThis scan and post the log.

Logitech Desktop Messenger is unnecessary and will not effect anything by removing it.JLC
You should have POSTED these logs in malware forum, but since evilfantasy is here, you're in good hands.
