Solve : Adobe Problem?? |
|
Answer» Just today my COMP started acting weird. It keeps locking up on me and I think it might be related to Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0, but I'm not sure. The lock-up always seems to occur when I'm using Adobe (which unfortunately I have to do a lot now) and all I can do is reboot and try again. At first I tried to print a page of a pdf and my printer locked up (ended up having to delete the printer and re-install it) and now even reading pdf's froze it. I was reading an online pdf, click the back button and nothing... still could move mouse, but couldn't click anything, and no keyboard (tried ctrl+alt+del). so i just hit the reset button and everything is back up again. the only thing though is that i'm afraid to open any pdf's now, but i have to for school... any ideas on what could be happening? How long have you been using Adobe 7.0? Have you installed any other programs in that same timeframe?Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 seems to force you to install a kind of Yahoo! toolbar.. A good REASON to REVERT back to 6.0.Are you giving adobe enough time to load? |
