Solve : ADSL with windows 98? |

Answer» have been trying to install ADSL on a computer running WINDOWS 98 but not matter what I do it will not recongise the modem I have tried it four different ways but to no avail.Have RJ45 connection as well as USB have contected the ISP but their tech guy could not help The motherboard is ASROCK all-in-one with the RJ45 port on board. Any ideas?Install any software provided by the ADSL provider. Install any software provided by the ADSL provider. Tried all that still no go Dows the NIC SHOW up in device manager? What ONBOARD ethernet is being used? And has it ever worked/been used before?What modem is it.......alcatal/speedtouch........what lights are on the modem?More information needed. |
